December 2, 2024

I was on hand to help in interviewing some of our women that applied for the interest free trading loans under the LIFT A WIDOW INITIATIVES program. Out of about one hundred and thirty women shortlisted from their various Parishes, we were only able to accommodate about fifty of them due to pundits of funds. Some of them were referred to reapply for the October seasons loan, but fifteen women were disqualified outrightly for various reasons. We wish to appreciate our partners, Budharani Charitable Foundation for their contributions towards sustaining this project. I wish to appreciate Mr Obinna Nwakpadolu for all his sacrifices and for helping to sustain the momentum especially after the death of the President, Mrs Victoria Ezeoke
