Empowering Women Through Interest-Free Loans: A LIFT A WIDOW INITIATIVES Update 2024

I was on hand to help in interviewing some of our women that applied for the interest free trading loans under the LIFT A WIDOW INITIATIVES program. Out of about one hundred and thirty women shortlisted from their various Parishes, we were only able to accommodate about fifty of them due to pundits of funds. Some of them were referred to reapply for the October seasons loan, but fifteen women were disqualified outrightly for various reasons. They were given loans ranging from N100,000 to N500,000 about $50 to $350 dollars.
