Today, we held our second meeting of the year as part of the ongoing efforts of Lift a Widow Initiative. During the meeting, we granted No-Interest Loans (NIL) to 12 women from five parishes in Isi-Achina and Achina. The impact of this NIL loan scheme, which has been running since 2019, has been remarkable. Barr. Chinwe Ezenwa-Mbah, Esq. has been working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the program’s success. The initiative continues to thrive, with recipients demonstrating strong repayment records and no defaults, contributing to the program’s lasting impact.
